New Travel Era: Post-Pandemic Reality

There are still lingering effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. People are still getting infected. People are still dying. The world economies have pretty much opened up for business, however many countries are still suffering from the economic realities left by the pandemic. This year's travel plans include and month of cat-sitting in the Bahamas aboard Good Life and 30 days in the Balkans experiencing the sights, sounds, and regional cultures of Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Highlights included visits to Balkan karst cave systems in Slovenia and Montenegro, Lake Bled, as well as coastal visits to the old towns of Split and Dubrovnik in Croatia and Kotor and Budva in Montenegro. And last but not least a canoe camping multinight excursion from Canoe Lake into Ontario's Algonquin Provincial Park backcountry to see the colors of fall. Secondly, I hoped to photograph a moose in the wild, and there is really no better place than the wilds of Algonquin Park.
